The three-fold mission of YWAM Minneapolis is to DWELL-live as a nurturing community of believers, TRAIN-make disciples, and SEND-proclaim the Gospel to the nations. As we train, our goal is not simply to instruct our students, but to instill in each of them the character and passion of Christ.

Ministry Goals

My ministry goals are rooted in the Vision Statement of YWAM Minneapolis:

Model: As a unified community of Christ-followers, we will model the Kingdom of God in our leadership structures, our training programs, our business operations, our corporate spirituality, our family lives, our artistic expressions and our proclamation through media.

Transform: Through our example, our acts of compassion, and our mutli-faceted proclamation of the Gospel -we will be agents of transformation among communities and nations.

Reproduce: We will reproduce Kingdom oriented communities among the nations.

God has been showing me the significance of community, both as the means by which I form my identity in Him, and the means by which He reveals Himself to the world.  I believe God's calling for me, and for all of His children, is to be part of a community which puts His love and His character on display to all nations.

We pray, "May your name be honored as Holy, may Your Kingdom Come, may Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven."  It begins with us. We honor the name of Jesus, we experience the Kingdom, we do the Father's will.  As we become a Kingdom oriented community, we create new communities, and we proclaim and advance the Kingdom among the nations.

Current Activity

Since January of 2007, I have made four trips to Peru. In January, traveling with my son David, I had the opportunity work alongside our teams and teach in two conferences for pastors and leaders.  The first conference was held in the mountain village of LLata, and included from nine congregations in the region.  We also visited our team ministering in the Amazon jungle, and the pastors conference there included leader from six communities along the Marañon river and its tributaries.

In May, I was invited to teach in the first DTS ever offered by YWAM in Iquitos, Peru.  I was also able to visit two of outreach teams ministering in the northern region of Peru, and in Lima.

In September, I was able to join another YWAM outreach team, as we did relief and evangelistic work among communities affected by the August earthquake.

In January 2008, I had the opportunity to teach at a conference for young adults in the city of Ica.

Prayer Requests

FOR THE CLARK FAMILY: Pray that in all of our family relationships we will continue to grow in Christ. Pray that as parents, Kim and I can consistently set aside time to invest in our children and teach them to love the Lord with all they have. FOR YWAM MINNEAPOLIS: As the ministry continues to grow, we see our staff challenged on many fronts. The only way we will be able to keep pace is if we continually raise up and train new leaders. Pray for an ongoing inflow of new staff, and pray that God will give our current leaders the ability to reproduce themselves effectively in others.

Special Projects and Events

For the year 2007, YWAM Minneapolis is focusing its prayer and outreach efforts on the nation of Peru.  Our goal is to intercede consistently and strategically for the nation, as we send as many teams as we can. Please see our website our information on our goals for the Earthquake Relief Project.

Thank You!

Our ongoing thanks go out to our families: If it were not for John and Nancy Clark, YWAM Minneapolis probably wouldn't be here. Thanks to Gary and Lucy Miller for their ongoing service. Thanks to Johnny-o for all the technical help putting together this website.
