We're the Friesen family,Lyndon(Canada)and Shavat(Peru),we have the heart to love God.We're missionaries with YWAM.God has called us to serve Him and that's what we want to do,Also He gave us the ministry of reconcilation: 2 Corinthians 5:17,18.Somos la familia Friesen,Lyndon(Canada)y Shavat(Peru),tenemos el corazon para amar a Dios y somos misioneros en JUCUM.Dios nos llamo a servirle y eso es lo que queremos hacer,tambien Dios nos ha dado el ministerio de reconciliacion:2 Corintios 5:17-18.

The three-fold mission of YWAM Minneapolis is to DWELL-live as a nurturing community of believers, TRAIN-make disciples, and SEND-proclaim the Gospel to the nations. As we train, our goal is not simply to instruct our students, but to instill in each of them the character and passion of Christ.

Ministry Goals

Our goal is to know the heart of God and share His awesome love with others. We want to disciple and bring people to the feet of God.We are also preparing ourselves to be involved with different cultures and strategic missions making God known to everyone.We want to see changed lives and we believe that God will use us in this. Latin America is very close to our hearts and we can use our spanish in ministry, but other places are important to us as well like China. We'll see what happens in the near future. Nuestra meta es llegar a conocer el corazón de Dios y compartir a los demas de su inmenso amor.Discipular y traer personas a los pies de Dios,queremos prepararnos e involucrarnos con diferentes culturas y asi estrategicamente hacer a Dios conocido,queremos ver vidas cambiadas y creemos que Dios nos usara para eso.Lugares de habla español es un sentir fuerte en nuestros corazones,y podemos usar nuestro español para el ministerio,pero tambien otros lugares son importantes para nosotros como China,entonces veremos que sucedera en nuestras vidas para el futuro.

Current Activity

Our daily activity is serving God and giving our best for Him. We are learning to love each other more every day and grow in our marriage. We're doing diferent things here in the base. Nuestra actividad diaria es servir a Dios y darle lo mejor de nosotros. tambien aprendemos cada dia a amarnos mas cada dia y crecer en nuestro matrimonio. Hacemos muchas cosas diferentes aca en la base.

Prayer Requests

We have to many pray request but right now we want to ask you to pray for monthly finances support and that people let God touch their hearts so they can support us monthly. Pray That people can understand and believe that everything that we are doing here is for the Kingdom of God. Also if you are thinking to support us please let us know we will appreciate it. We are having problems with our car and we are praying for a new car. Shavat is praying for a van, please help us to pray abou it. Tenemos muchas peticiones de oracion pero por ahora te queremos pedir por favor que ores por nuestras finanzas para que Dios toque corazones y nos puedan soportar economicamente cada mes.Tambien para que las personas entiendan que todo lo que hacemos es para el Reino de Dios. Oraciones tambien para obtener un auto nuevo ya que el que tenemos tiene problemas. Shavat esta orando por una van, ayudanos a orar por eso tambien.

Special Projects and Events

We will travel to Peru in the end of November to visit Shavat's family and stay there for Christmas. We will help here with the next full English school. We will lead the next Billinguel winter school 2010 . We will teach in the next Schools . Vamos a viajar a Peru a finales de Noviembre para visitar la familia de Shavat y pasaremos la Navidad alla. Ayudaremos en la proxima escuela de primavera. Estaremos liderando la proxima escuela de invierno en el 2010. Tendremos la oportunidad de enseñar en las escuelas.
